Project List

i have the unfortunate habit of undertaking projects and putting them on a list. they sit there bored, waiting to be checked off, and instead of that, more friends join them.
so, in an effort of some sort of accountability, i am sharing the most pressing things i'd like to get done, or at least share the excruciatingly slow progress of taking on said list.

1. Re-upholster recently acquired chair
2. Finish kitchen curtain
3. Dye single streak of my nearly jet black hair white
4. Make headbands for my niece, niece on the way and SIL [i've got movie tickets to make up for ;)]

Restless about my tresses..

if you know me at all, you know that this goal of mine, to donate my hair to Locks of Love [or like organization], is just about to darn near kill me. i do not like having my hair long. i almost never fix it. it takes to much time and effort, and it's not like i could keep it tamed anyway. this little [mostly] Asian has some curly hair. I much rather throw this shabang in a messy bun than deal with it. 

however....i AM nearing my goal. i mean, they need 10 inches people! as restless as i am about my hair.. this is no easy task.

so to get me thru my plight, [i use that word ULTRA lightly] i have been browsing possible future cuts.

 i just love how simple and clean this is.

Then there's the incomparable Twiggy and we all know how much i love a pixie cut

Then there's this. little feather-ish doodads that attach to your hair.i don't color my hair. i have only once in my life. so i like this.. if i go with the first cut, i'm definitely doing this too, but i may go ahead and do this now.

Grey+Pearl

For about a year now, i have obsessed with the color grey. i LOVE it. it's a perfect neutral color. you don't have to worry about people judging you for mixing black and brown. it goes with EVERYTHING fantastically. i'm working on getting my house in a grey, white, and lime green motif. decorating and such is not so easy on a measly budget.
i FINALLY found my perfect grey nail polish from Essie called Main Squeeze. it's got a pearly sheen to it. i'm in love. Grey+Pearl=AWESOME. i also have to share that my two thumbs up for Essie polish in general. it dries quickly, it lasts a pretty long time, and those things make it gold in my book.

this is the revamp.

you know that Hilary Duff song? i think it was the theme song for Laguna Beach...
it says something like: Let the rain fall down and wake my dreams..somethingsomething I'm coming clean.
well, it's something like that.
i decided it's been far too long that i have neglected my blog. also, that it had no real purpose.
i'm not sure that i have a specific purpose this time around, but i have a vision in my head.
here's to hoping that putting that into action is in line with my thoughts and hopes.
